Sunday Stroll: Two area golfers hit double eagles

Sunday, July 31st, 2011

This was in the Web. I like to learn this stuff. See what you think.

A couple of area golfers had memorable days on the course Saturday. Dennis Breske hit a hole-in-one on the par-4 fifth hole at Westward Ho, while Zane Swenson, a club pro at Brandon Golf Course, hit a double-eagle on the par-5 No. 1. Breske’s ace was from 292 yards, and he used a driver. Westward Ho said it was the first double eagle at the course in a “considerable amount of time.”

Hope it’s enlightening. I’ll keep searching for good stories. Click the ‘Go to Source’ link for more.
