Chili Open serves up snowy fun for golfers (West Side Leader & South Side News Leader)

BATH — Several inches of snow were no problem for golfers who participated in the 20th annual Wayne Homes Chili Open, a fund-raiser for the Akron Rotary Club, which took place at Hale Farm and Village Feb. 6. Thanks to the use of brightly colored golf balls, like the one shown at right top, participants were able to tee off despite the heavy snowfall in the area.

Golfers battle elements in 20th annual Chili Open (West Side Leader & South Side News Leader)

BATH — The Wayne Homes Chili Open will tee off Feb. 6 at Hale Farm and Village. According to event officials, the 20th annual outing, which expects to draw more than 500 people of all ages, is a fund-raiser for the Rotary Camp for Children With Special Needs.
