Amateur golfers in the North West will have a brand new matchplay competition to compete in next season. The Northern Matchplay Golf Championship is a season-long tournament initially split into six counties, which include Cheshire and Lancashire.

Accra, April 7 GNA – All is set for this year’s Unilever Ghana Limited Golf Championship scheduled for the Achimota Golf Course in Accra on Saturday, April 10. Mr Kwabena Oteng-Aboagye, General Manager of the Achimota Golf Club told GNA Sports in Accra on Wednesday that 120 golfers are expected to participate in the one-day 18-Hole Stable-ford competition.
