Brad Millard plays golf in the warm but smoggy weather at Eaglewood golf course in Bountiful Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012. Quinn Jensen and Brad Millard were lured by the sun Tuesday to play a round of golf in the warm but smoggy weather at Eaglewood Golf Course on Bountiful’s eastbench.

APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) Golfers in Appleton are taking a swing at some proposed changes to Reid Golf Course. The city-owned course will build two storm water retention ponds on the property to help alleviate some long-standing problems.

Just found this on the Web. I find this stuff nteresting.
As a young child, I grew up next door to a golf course and spent my summers collecting golf balls that golfers had shot over the fence. I would constantly hear the golfers yelling “fore” and wondered what it meant and why they did it.
