Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) – Golfers braved the rain Monday to raise money for the Mary Byron Project, and to help stop domestic violence.   The annual golf scramble was held at the Heritage Hill Golf Club in Shepherdsville. Golfers return to the greens, delighting winter-weary courses (WSLS Newschannel 10 Roanoke)

The unusually snowy winter meant Colonial Hills and at least two other area golf courses, Ivy Hill Golf Club and Boonsboro Country Club, had to lay dormant for the entire month of February, which meant no golfers and no revenue
