Golfers braved the rain Sunday for the 9th Annual Megan Dunham Golf Tournament. More than 115 golfers played in this year’s tournament. After a little golf players and family members were able to dry off at a benefit dinner.

Friday Harbor Wolverines Quinn Bune, Megan Cuomo, William King, Taylor Molloy, Tyler McKee and Riley Rousar compete in the District golf tournament May 13 at North Bellingham. Twenty male golfers and eight female golfers will advance to the Tri-District tournament on May 18 at Eagles Pride in Tacoma. Coach Jack Rice talked with SanJuanJournal.com about his team’s prospects.

Enids boys and girls golfers will go to the Centennial Conference tournament today at Lew Wentz Golf Course in Ponca City. The Pacers will go with a lineup of Brenna Mason, Morgan Carris, Kimmy Carris, Megan Shewey, Allyson Douglass and Maggie Tully.

Five area youth golfers have been named to the 2009 N.C. All-State golf teams by the Carolinas Golf Association and the Tarheel Youth Golf Association. Ashbrook senior Megan Burnham and East Lincoln’s Mattie Tobey made the girls’ first team….
