Golfers weather through tournament

Though they experienced pretty much every type of weather possible on the course, several Mercer Island residents wrapped up a weeklong golfing tournament last Friday at Sahalee Country Club.

Cougar golfers capture first win of spring at Somersett

The weather was about as nice as high school golfers were going to get at Somersett Country Club in northwest Reno Tuesday. The Spanish Springs boys golf squad used the low-wind conditions to its advantage as it won its first High Desert League tournament of the season with a team score of 410.
